Self soothe box

A self-soothe box (also called a happy/crisis/panic/emergency box) could be a box or a bag of items that can make you feel better if you are feeling low, having intrusive thoughts or feeling panicky. You can pick whatever items you want – this box is just for you.

You can make it your own by decorating it or even making a couple of versions of it for different situations.

Papyrus has put together a guide on how to create a ‘Hope Box’.
