Fans of five-a-side football are being urged to lace up their boots and enter their team for this year’s Choose Life Challenge Cup. The tournament will take place on World Suicide Prevention Day, Saturday 10 September 2016, at the excellent Hibernian Football Club Training Centre in East Lothian.
In its sixth year, the Choose Life Challenge Cup will be one of the closing events of World Suicide Prevention Week, which runs from Monday 5 until Sunday 11 September. The event highlights the positive difference sport and exercise can make to a person’s mental wellbeing.  The competition will run from 10.00 am until 12.30 pm and will benefit from the outstanding facilities at the Hibernian Football Club Training Centre at East Mains, Ormiston near Tranent in East Lothian.

The tournament is set up as a mini-league with the top teams going on to compete for the Choose Life Challenge Cup, the Health in Mind trophy and one outstanding team member receiving the Player of the Tournament Award.
