Service Description

Carers of East Lothian run lots of support groups across East Lothian. These are a great opportunity to meet other people in the same situation and to share experiences. Groups are informal and welcoming.

Dunbar Support Group
Date: Second Wednesday of each month
Time: 10.30 am – 12.00 pm
Address: The Stables, Belhaven Church, Dunbar

Dirleton Support Group
Date: First Tuesday of each month
Date: 10.30am to midday
Address: Open Arms Hotel, Dirleton

North Berwick Support Group
Date: Second Tuesday of each month
Time: 10.30am to midday
Address: Nether Abbey Hotel, North Berwick

Musselburgh Support Group
Date: Last Wednesday of each month
Time: 10.00 to 11.30am
Address: MECA, Musselburgh

Carers of people with mental health issues
Date: Last Tuesday of each month
Time: 4.30 to 6pm
Address: Varies – usually Port Seton area

Men who care!
When: Second Thursday of each month
Time: 10.30am to midday
Address: Normally @ MECA, Musselburgh

Parent Carer Support Group (particularly of children with an autism/ADHD spectrum condition)
Date: the last Monday of each month (not July)
Time: 9.30 am to 11.00 am
Address: Home-Start, Early Years Centre, Sandersons Wynd School, Tranent

Date: the second Tuesday of each month (except August)
Time: 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm
