Dunbar Community Shed
The Dunbar Community Shed is a social group that brings together men and women of all ages and ability levels to take part in a variety of activities you may do in your shed at home, e.g. woodwork, painting, upcycling, crafts & more.
Community Sheds are places of skill-sharing and informal learning, of individual pursuits and community projects, of purpose, achievement and social interaction. A place of leisure where men come together to work. A Shed’s activities usually involve making or mending in wood, metal work, gardening, bike repair, model engineering and various other hands-on projects. Sheds often have a focus on reuse, recycling and renovation.
It is a friendly group where members share the tools and resources they need to work on projects in a safe, friendly and inclusive venue.
