Courage Over Fear Workshops (Anam Cara)

Who is this for?

  • Women who are currently experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, or low self-worth, at risk of or are using unhealthy coping mechanisms like alcohol, prescription drugs, food, or self-harming. Women should be in a stable place to commit to the programme.

Who provides this?

  • Anam Cara

Anam Cara is a registered Scottish charity supporting woman whose aim is to improve their emotional well-being. Anam Cara was developed by women who recognised a gap in services to provide a lived experience approach to supporting women’s emotional wellbeing.

This workshop provides skills and techniques, through wellbeing workshops that enable women to make the positive changes required to help them lead healthier and happier lives.

Each week the team will cover certain topics. Once a woman has attended, we post pre-recorded videos on to our website relating to each week’s topic.

Our videos make it possible for women to watch them in their own time and as often as they wish.

Every Monday you will be given an opportunity to ask any questions regarding the previous weeks topics.

Anam Cara suggest that to get the best from our Workshop the women attend every week and watch all our videos.
