Description

Sharing A Story CIC is a small community organisation in East Lothian.

It runs shared reading and creative writing sessions in order to reduce social isolation. Share a Story’s main goal is to empower people to communicate and use their voice by engaging in discussions inspired by books and having the time and space to tell their own stories. Sharing stories works with the group to create a social connection. The facilitators have seen first-hand the difference these sessions and the magic of words can make to people’s health and wellbeing.
