Description

Developed by SAMH, Step Up gives you access to 1-2-1 and group work sessions with a trained mental health employability professional to focus on gaining skills and improving your wellbeing.

Step Up Specialists are trained to deliver weekly sessions, tailored to your own individual needs.
Sessions will provide invaluable employability skills and wellbeing support and the opportunity to engage with peers.

What Can I Expect?

  • 1-2-1 Support
  • Optional group work sessions one day a week for 6 weeks
  • Up-skill with an aim to progress towards work, education, training or volunteering
  • Support with personal development, life skills and goal setting
  • Weekly employability support
  • Snacks and travel expenses provided
  • Topical based workshops
  • 1-2-1 after care support

How do I access this?

  • Referrals can be made for this service through DWP or Community Link Workers in local GP practices.

  • Throughout East Lothian. Step-up specialists can meet 1-2-1 in your local area.
