Through group work, you can learn from others who have similar struggles and will have the chance to support, and be supported by your peers, as well as our skilled facilitators. It can help to know that you are not alone.
Changes believes in positive mental health and wellbeing for everyone. As a charity, Changes is here to help the community of East Lothian to achieve and maintain positive mental health and wellbeing by providing a wide range of services and activities.
Changes provides support for a wide range of challenges, including stress, panic, low mood, low self-esteem, anxiety, worry, depression and negative thinking.
Activities are friendly, welcoming and inclusive, and offer opportunities to meet new people, get active and get involved in the local community.
Our Support Groups and Courses are currently running both on Zoom and face-to-face:

- Compassion Focused Therapy Group
- First Steps to Positive Mental Health Course
- Understanding and Managing Anxiety Group
- Men’s Peer Support Group
We offer a variety of Wellbeing Activities designed to cater to diverse interests and promote wellbeing. Here are some of the options available:
In addition to these activities, we have Nurture by Nature project — a series of nature-based groups and activities. This initiative harnesses the healing power of the natural world, offering participants a chance to reconnect with nature and find solace, inspiration and personal growth.
